HNP’s Spring Fashion Shoot { Escanaba, MI Senior Photographer }

Every now and then I get the itch to do a just-for-fun shoot. I just love pulling outfits together from my massive collection of vintage clothing and accessories! The personal work that I do allows me to try out crazy fashion inspired ideas and call alllllll the shots! It was a gorgeous day last week, and I couldn’t stand to stay inside and edit. So I contacted Jen last minute, knowing she’d be up for it! I’ve known Jen since I can remember – she’s the baby sister of one of my childhood friends, Jess! Jen is interested in modeling, and she was so much fun to work with! This girl really knows how to pose – see for yourself!

For the first outfit, I wanted something really simple and elegant to show of Jen’s gorgeous features. I chose an old velvet strapless ball gown that I found in my grandma’s basement. For a touch of glamour, I added HUGE chandelier earrings from Forever21. The earrings are way too heavy to wear out, so I’ve been saving them for a shoot just like this!

The next look I pulled together was little house on the prairie inspired – a soft, feminine look with a bold pop of red to spice up the pale blue Gunne Sax dress! Plus, some oversized fake glasses I’ve had since high school – just because she’s cute enough to pull them off!

The last look was definitely my favorite! I have been dreaming up a Gaga themed shoot for awhile, so this was way fun. It ended up being a little more Ke$ha that Gaga, but I’m really thrilled with the look either way!The rad sequin bodysuit is a Vinnie’s find, as well as the belt. I love ripped up nylons and her “I don’t give a hoot” attitude – she rocked the rebel look!
